Our LPSS students completing the Glass Fracture Lab. The lab assists students in learning about sequencing of bullet holes and determining the direction of force on a piece of broken glass at a crime scene.

Demolition of the North Gym Bleachers is underway— can’t wait to see the new bleachers soon!
The Fellowship of the Stage is hard at work on this year’s fall production, a series of recorded scripts aptly titled as “The Radio Plays Project.”
With elements of real world practical skills such as voice-over acting and computer applications, with some 20th Century History as well, Ottawa High School Theatre students are in the recording studio (the Performing Arts Center), and the editing booth, polishing 5 separate vintage stories in anticipation of showcasing their dedication and talent.
Each recorded audio show will be posted on the Theatre Department’s YouTube channel and include the artwork of OHS artists and photographers.
Take a trip back to the days of the Golden Age of Radio, when excitement and adventure thrilled the listening audience with stories of far flung places and daring-do, sweet romances, or spooky tales to chill and fright.
Turn down the lights, keep a loved one close and join us this Halloween weekend!

Volleyball Sub-State info is out. Sub-State is being held at Iola High School on 10/24. OHS will face Paola in their first match. The start time will be in the 2:30 - 3:00 range depending on how long the 2 matches before theirs take to complete. Spectators and streaming TBA
Good news for JV Soccer players and parents!!! We have added a JV game for Thursday 10/22/20. We will be playing Chanute Christian Academy here at OHS. The start time will be at 4:30. The varsity game will follow vs. Paola as scheduled.
