Busy night in Ottawa!
8th-grade basketball battled Louisburg at home—JV won, 32-14, while Varsity fell in a heartbreaking 38–40 finish.
Meanwhile, Scholars Bowl hosted our home meet, with the 7th grade earning gold and the 8th grade earning silver!
Great work by all our students representing Ottawa with pride!
It was a tough night for our 7th-grade team on the court as the Whirlwinds hosted Tongie. JV lost, 35–7, and Varsity: 49–11.

Night one of the OMS production of Bringing Down the House was a huge success! The cast brought energy, humor, and confidence to the stage, delivering strong performances and plenty of laughs from the audience.
You can watch night two, tomorrow (1/30) at the PAC @ 7:00 pm.
8th grade: 1/29/26 Home Game vs. Forest Spring JV comes out strong with a 25–7 win, and Varsity follows up with a big 45–24 victory. Great night on our home court! 💪
1/28: Whirlwind C team boys basketball played Eudora tonight at home and came out on top, winning 24-20.
Next week, they take on Baldwin City @ home @ 4:00 pm.
